It's about these two people who have an eerie deja vu feeling when they meet, as if they know each other. But they never manage to place each other. Over the years, they meet several times again and the woman grows in significance in the narrator's mind. Years later, he discovers that she is the (now) wife of one his clients when he is invited to dinner at their house.
